In Walla Walla, WA.., Westley Allen Dodd chose to be hung for killing
three boys. This is the first execution in thirty years. Relatives of the
victims were never asked if they wanted to see it and they wanted to, so the
state saved fourteen seats for witnesses. The hanging is scheduled January
fifth at 12.01 am.

Wednesay, December 16, troops and planes from Fairchild Air Force Base
left for Somalia. They sent 4 KC-135 refuling planes, 2000 men , and 20 F-1
eagles
They also sent 3 B-52 bombers. What do you think about this ? I hope they
donΓ•t get into shooting. I think it's bad that every time there's a war we get
in the violence.

Prisoners will have more room at the Airway Heights, WA. jall . There is
scheduled to be 1,053 more cells built in 1993. Itwill cost 200,153 dollars.
I think we should have finished the jail all at one time.

Spokane is growing at a very fast rate. Such a large rate that the
houses are being built on parks and fields. The people of Spokane are worried
that in the next few years this town will be all buildings and have no
greenery in sight. I think this should stop. Better planning for growth is
needed.

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW MUCH SNOW IT TAKES TO CLOSE DOWN YOUR SCHOOL?

P.S. 1/4/93 Our school has been closed two days now in January, as the snow
