I have will send a few more soon. I am going to set up another session for the spring and will be more active. You might try this in the interim. It is not a brown bag as such but could be adapted.

Towers of Spaghetti Rules

1. The tower must be built as high as possible, and when finished, must support
the ping-pong ball.
 
2. Any amount of materials may be "purchased" from the "Building Supply
Headquarters" according to the posted price list.
 
3. Once purchased, materials may not be returned for a refund.
 
4. After construction period, the height of each structure will be measured
from the base of the tower to the top of the ball.
 
5. The structure must remain standing by itself after construction with the
ping-pong ball on top.
 
6. The ping-pong ball cannot be damaged or altered during or after
construction.
 
7. The height of the tower and the total cost of materials will determine team
score.
