James Bannan, My professor and I were pleased to recieve your last messagse. As of today (Monday Dec.07, 1992) it is snowing incredibly. This is the first break in weather for over a week. This past week has been and average of 8 degrees above 0 F. The coldest so far has been -4 degrees F. A couple of years ago we had an Arctic freeze which brought temperatures down to -70 degrees F with combined wind chill factor. The ski resorts are quite content. I haven't seen much animal other than 8 deer last week and flocks of migrating small birds. I wanted to ask you about the fish you mentioned in you last message. I wanted to know how large they were in size. If the weather warms up any, there should be alot more animal movement to report. I'll keep a log or diary so to keep track of day by day events. Looking forward to more replies.
