LT>We have just got onto K12.....
Linus, welcome to the world of telecommunication. I find it is really terrific and I have not long been using it myself. I am co-ordinating an interest group in environmental observations, it is just an interest to encourage teachers and students to take a closer look into their backyards, their local neighbourhood and area and focus and the plants animals and bugs that they can find. I have had a passing interest in my own local area, it isn't much more than wAtching the changes with the seasons but

I noticed that generally a lot of people get really stirred up about international issues (eg the whales) and yet we may never see a whale ourselves. I believe it is important to give support to international concerns but often there are really fascinating thngs to be seen and watched right under our noses (no I don't mean nasal hairs !!!!).
Actually it is t hearing from someone else in the southern hemisphere because our weatehr is into its warmer phase while the northern countries head into winter. We are bringing to drop our meassages into Channel 9 till the end of March, so if you can get some of your students to add pieces into here whewn they come back from holidays it will be fantastic. But while they are on holidays - well Linus -it is up to you, so out there into the world Linus and start looking under rocks and in plants and find t

hose minibeasts !!! How is the possum problem in NZ going????
Cheers for now Jimbo Down Under.
Ps I have put my latest diary entry into CHANNEL 9.
Ps We will have to try and fing a sister city for you too.
Happy Christmas
