I am looking for internation pen pals for my middle school students.  We have a grant to reach out and write someone.  Our sixth graders study world geography.  They also have a semester of geography in the seventh grade.  I think the seventh is more US geography.

Would you like to start a research project on countries of the world?  I would like for my computer tech students to practice keyboarding and computer literacy knowledge.  We have just started the school year so things are not crystal clear on our classes.  I think besides just writing we should have a topic of the week or month that would let them share ideas and work together to solve problems.  What problems is the question.  

One of our students concerns is our very restrictive dress code.  We have banned all athletic type clothing because of gang activity.  We used to have a very loose policy but each year it is more restrictive.  Students will want to know what happens in your country.
