Suzy: I have 30 grade six students. We are a urban school, on the outskirts of the second largest city in Nova Scotia. My students are not really a "mixed" group, although there are two students with backgrounds other than white (East Indian & Malisian). I generally do not set a lot of ground rules for the penpals. Students write what they wish, and get penpals according to what they write . . . In other words, I am allowing them to find out that by composing a well written, interesting letter, they will get a good penpal. I allow students to write as soon as they receive a letter, and we send them off once a day. If however you have any particular ground rules you would like to suggest, I am open to ideas . . (---- Art Hill ----) OOPS . . . . Forgot to mention. My class has their own account on the BBS, but individual students do not, so if you would like to write back, please address student letters to "COLBY-SIX" -- uucp: uunet!m2xenix!puddle!255!2!Arthur.Hill Internet: Arthur.Hill@f2.n255.z1.fidonet.org
