Helen, I am an elementary school librarian new to k12NET. Lincoln is a small school (l50 students) in Helena, MT.  The 5th grade teacher and I would like to find a class of 5th graders in a metropolitan area  who would like to structure a community comparison (top ten lists would be an easy way to start) with an emphasis on Social studies.  Should this be an OPEN project?  Do we need a channel? What is the easiest way to get a partner?  Do we register each student or might we register as a class?  Charlott
