Global Village News will continue! We have been granted an extension in the
Project Channel 11. Please have students continue to post local and school
news. Each post should be addressed to All or to Lorna Kropp. Please include a
brief Headline, the news story and a By-line (your name and school, city) When
looking for stories to report:
1. choose items which are interesting to you.
2. look for events or happenings which are unique to your area
3. report on issues which you feel strongly about
4. report on people in your school or town who make a difference

While Geoff Busch or I will try to answer each post, other participants are
encouraged to write directly to the reporter with questions of clarification
or comments. New participants are welcome, teachers please leave a message in
this area or Teacher Chat with your name, school and grade level. We will list
the participants each month for your information. The format will be open
ended with no specific timeline. Please have students follow the suggestions
listed above.

Here's to a lively exchange of news from around the globe!!
