Question for anyone in Australia. At Discovery School (k-6), . Our art teacher wanted everyone to look at things "from a new perspective" so he turned pictures and maps upside down in his room and in the library. Then the kids and other teachers started to think about which way was really up!! For instance maps in the US always show north/cold at the top of the map. We got to wondering if in Australia Cold/South is ever up? Also Do you feel dominated by the northern hemisphere? We would be interested in hearing your reaction or ideas about this issue. Thanks.
