It was mentioned at the last KW Unix Users Group meeting that there are "a lot" of people who would like some sort of public access UNIX account, and no one knew of any such service in the area. I would be willing to set up one, provided I can at least break even. So here's a quick market survey, please pass this on to your friends who are not fortunate enough to have news or mail access. 1) How much would you pay for a UNIX account that has a full news feed, and Internet access for anonymous ftp? 2) Would you perfer a flat fee and restrictions on the time per day you can use it, or a pay for service? 3) When (and for how long) would you be most likey to use it? 4) Would you be interested in a news feed? If I get sufficient response to make a go of it, I can probably be set up by September. Thanks. -- Tony Lill, Tony.Lill@Waterloo.NCR.COM President, A. J.
