We're a couple of days away from the "official" watmath uucp
disconnection date.  We've already taken this step here and
I see that everyone else pretty much has as well.

It's time to post my public appreciation for all the years of
mail and news feeds the kind people at the University of Waterloo,
and specifically watmath, have provided to the KW Unix community.

I'd like to note that over the years, they've never asked for
anything in return, never charged anyone a dime, selflessly
devoted their time and resources to proving an unpaid service,
and generally put up with our grumbling and with intermittent
scads of broken code everywhere.  Let's also not forget that
they graciously stalled on the cutoff for a year to allow the
community to get connectivity alternatives in place.

My specific thanks go out to:
	Bill Ince
	Guy Middleton
	RJ White (wherever he is now)
	Ken Lalonde (now at UT)

I hope they remember that they're always welcome to ask me if
ever they feel I can help them in return.
