I thought the Brown Derby was in Hollywood, not Los Feliz.

Good old Michael's, home of surf and turf and snotty
waiters.  I lived around the corner from Michael's and
dined there occasionally with friends who didn't want
anything exotic.  One dinner stays in my memory not
because of the food, but because the waiter tried to
bully me into leaving a 15% tip when he gave 1% service.
