I've been three times and the first two were forgettable experiences
because I was too hungry to care about quality. It was filling, not hard
on the wallet, and we got in and out quickly. The last time was a great
experience. We had lots of time to sit and talk, enjoyed the food, and
then buy a whole load of meats at the end of the trip.

I don't believe it's a haufbrau because that would have caused
significant scoffing from the ba.food 'group. It is a regular stop-over
for those headed south or back north, though. Two caveats: They are
closed Sunday and Monday; they also have specific hours but I can't
recall what they are. They also only accept cash.
