I recall >seeing that exact same thing happen on an episode of "Hill Street >Blues". The story could be aprocryphal, perhaps it's as you suggested: the storyteller saw the scene on television and thought it happened himself. Or, its even possible that the person who wrote that episode of Hill Street Blues may have even seen the same event himself at the old diner and wrote it into the show. Its possible - Phil's is about three minutes away from where lots of showbiz folks live. In any case, even if it didn't happen that way, most of the old time patrons would believe it was true. >David Braun braunink@hooked.net >David Braun Photography >Specializing in groups of all sizes--Conferences/Special Events, >Corporate/Industrial, Editorial, P.
