I've eaten at outside tables with a dog in San Francisco, but I think 
actually taking a dog in a restaurant would probably violate most health 
codes.

(About a month ago, my little friend gave a person eating a sandwich 
at an outside table the act, and scored a piece. He then spit out the 
piece of sandwich, spit out a dog biscuit, and JUST ATE THE CHICKEN in 
the sandwich.)
