Just went to a neat restaurant in Santa Monica last night. It's called World Cafe, and it's located on Main Street at Ashland. The cuisine is California/Continental, and looks like it's all pretty healthy. Prices range from under $10 for pasta and pizza dishes, to around $20 for some of the more expensive entrees. Last night I had the grilled swordfish which was outstanding, and my date had the vegetarian pizza, which I thought was ordinary (I stole a taste). The wine list looked good, but again nothing out of the ordinary. I recommend this restaurant as much for the neighborhood and the decor as for the food. Exciting place to go.
