Chevy's Mexican Restaurants

I saw an advertisement for Chevy's restaurants in Orange County
(Irvine and Fountain Valley?). Has anyone tried them?

Chevy's is a popular chain in San Francisco (and perhaps elsewhere),
I think an offshoot of some Texas restaurants. They sprung up all
over the SF bay area about 5 years ago. I found them to be a cut
above the regular Mex chains: high quality meats, fresh chiles in
the chile rellanos, a very nice ceviche salad, good margaritas (if
you like the out-of-the-slurpee-machine type).

I was glad to see that they've spread south, but haven't been able
to try them yet.
