Is this what you meant? I've been to a few such places. A buffet place in Milpitas was excellent, but stopped doing the buffet (probably too many people porking out on the good stuff). A "lunch plate" place somewhere near Mountain View was not very good at all--something about a couple of slice of Wonder Bread with some kind of meat cutlet on top of it just didn't do it for me, at least not that particular day. There's an L&L about 50 miles north of me (or 15 miles north of where I am if I over in the Silicon Valley having lunch with my "Intel Retireds" friends, as I am about once a month or so). They may've tried it on one of the 75% of the time cases where I wasn't there....I may ask them if we can try it again. --Tim May
