It is a good alternative to the other fast- food joints near my work, but I can't say it is worth a fifty-mile drive. It is pretty yummy, though, and keeps me satisfied for hours. Lots of rice, chicken, beef, fried fish, and macaroni salad. I agree in the hopes for the growth of Islands. The one in Roseville is consistent, even when really busy. There are always managers on the floor keeping everything moving. It probably is a little pricey for what you get, but the food is tasty and worth a visit once or twice a month. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the flavor and portion of meat in their carnitas-style tacos.
