Well, I used to drive Cahuenga Blvd. while they were building the
Hollywood freeway.  BTW, the streetcar tracks had to be removed to put
the freeway in.  Campo de Cahuenga is directly across Lankershim Blvd
from Universal Studios and adjacent to the Red Line station.  It is the
place where the Capitulation at Cahuenga took place and also known as
the Treaty of Cahuenga that ended the secession of California from
Mexico and it is the unofficial Birthplace of California.
