In response to Ranger's description of the mysteriously-popular
Father's Office in Santa Monica, Todd writes:

>probably wouldn't faze me.

I dunno, Todd -- did you hang out a lot at the Limelight late
saturday nights? That's the closest I've seen on the peninsula
to the bar scene of Father's Office, and even then the Limelight
(now closed?) don't know nothin'.

That sounds about right. I hope I didn't lead you to expect the
best Indian food you've ever had; I was just trying to steer you
to good food in Pasadena. Not that I'm an expert -- because our
attempts have often ended in failure, I'm afraid. There is an
astounding amount of bad grub there, esp. near where you were
staying.

>Crown City Brewery, also in Pasadena, was more of a disappointment.

Sorry about that!

Rage away,
