Heh, well, here is a semi-random quote from someone named "Mustard" on BeerFly who seems to provide the gist: "Father's Office would be a truly fantastic stop off if one were allowed to bring mace or a shotgun to level out some of the ambiance. Forty or so taps dedicated to high quality California micros and top of the line Belgians... what's not to love about that?" On the first point, "trendy" and "frustrating" seem to be adjectives that contrast with the more appealing noun "eye candy" in various reviews. >Oh, Monsoon is owned by the Maharajahs? What's the story there >(if anyone knows)? Yes, it is. It is their new restaurant. When I first went, as stated in my review in ba.food, I asked the waiter why the new name. He said "It is a new restaurant." So there you go. I recently returned for the $9.95 buffet lunch which is rather sumptuous, and obviously setup to compete with Shiva's. It was OK for the price. The real news in Indian in Mountain View, which you might have missed, is that DeeDee of DeeDee's has opened up a place that includes meat items, with the truly ghastly name Great Bytes. Now that's good value.
