  For those who are interested, Bon Appetit Magazine is holding the First
Annual Los Angeles Wine & Spirits Focus at Spago's on Sunday, November 7,
1993.  At the event, there will be two tastings (10:30 - 1 & 1:30 - 4) of
fine wine & spirits & specialty foods.  The tastings consist of French
Champagnes, Premium California Blended Wines, & Single Malt Scotches along
with complementary hors d'oeuvres and light lunch.  Cost is $50 per person
(or $45 if you're a member of the American Institute of Wine & Food).  
Proceeds are to benefit AIWF as well as Second Harvest, a nationwide
network of foodbanks.

  Spago's not big and things are filling up fast.  Give Bon Appetit a call

  (FWIW, I'm a subscriber to Bon Appetit and thought that others on the net
would want to participate.)
