Went to the Milky Way Cafe yesterday near West L.A.
Steven Spielberg's mother greeted us (who owns the
cafe). We didn't have reservations. Even though
the place was totally empty, she was sort of
insistent that we needed reservations. But she
finally gave in and seated us. The food wasn't
bad, and I'll probably come again. Anyway, I
hope this place isn't empty all day long. But
if it is, it must be nice having a rich son who
can support your restaurant "hobby."

Last time I went to the kosher Milky Way, there was a huge piece of snot
on the inside of my menu, not exactly what I'd expect to find at a
rabinically supervised restaurant. I said nothing but sent a note
afterwards to Mrs. Spielberg, who never acknowledged my correspondence.
Hm...funny way to run a restaurant!
