Marchant" <marchant@SEAS.UCLA.EDU> Subject: Restaurant Review I used to live two blocks from Renu whatever, the Thai restaurant in Norwalk that got good reviews from the Times. I lived there for three years, ate there once. I'm afraid my wife and I did not get the delicacies spoken of in the review, opting instead for the usual lemon grass soup and pot thai. (We went before the review was published - about two years ago) I, being a white boy from Indiana thought the food very good. My wife, who has frequented many more asian restaurants than I was only mildly impressed - she thought the food was good but somewhat expensive for the portions we received. I'm afraid that was about all I remember. My recommendation - You only live once, and you, not any food critic, will be the only one to ever make the proper decision on any restaurant - if you are down this way then eat there and satisfy your curiosity. Renu whatever is found by exiting the 5 southbound on Rosecrans, heading East on Rosecrans approximately three blocks in an older minimall-type building on your left, just before you get to a small dairy with a cow on the roof (between Shoemaker and Carmenita being the closest major streets)
