I popped into BevMo yesterday to get another bottle of Plymouth gin. Imagine my surprise on seeing that my favourite botlle of _mother's ruin_ was on sale. Imagine my joy. The usual price for Plymouth gin is @20 a bottle, they are now selling it for $15. While I was there, glowing over my good fortune, I also threw a bottle of cheap gin in my basket. LLords Gin, only $7 for a litre bottle. While picking up cheap booze for those spongeing guests or forn cooking, I picked up a bottle of Aussie rum at $7 a bottle also on sale. For those who have never tried Plymouth gin, now is the time to try it, while it is on sale. I picked up a couple of bottles for myself. To get the "discounts", you need a BevMo card. They are easy to get and you can get one in any name you like - Say John Ashcroft, Kobe Bryant, or even Jennifer Lopez. -- FDA employees are first-class agonizers, world champions at losing sleep. - P.J. I notice on BevMo's website they're selling Boodles gin for $16. That's a big drop from the $26 they've charged for years. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact TJ's sells it for $14? nb

I have heard that TJs and Costco are the two biggest buyers of plonk for example. I do know their price on Campari is always below any other other retailer. -- FDA employees are first-class agonizers, world champions at losing sleep. - P.J. O'Rourke
