My father has a 1987 Mercury wagon of some sort. His hood ornament got
dislodged at a car wash, and he'd like to get a new one for a birthday
present. He'd like a horse ornament best of all.

Does anyone know places that sell any hood ornaments at all, anymore?
If so, what about horse hood ornaments? Or, conversely, are there any
horse people out there who've seen horse hood ornaments, perhaps in a tack
store? They're just the thing for that big Dually that you pull yer trailer
with (-: so I figure somebody's seen them somewhere ...

Locations near/in the San Fernando or San Gabriel valleys would be preferred;
but any leads would be appreciated. My Mom says my Dad's not likely to see
80 (he's just about to turn 78), so I may not have too many birthday chances
left to come through with the goods. Thanks in advance.

[If you see this well outside of Los Angeles, I apologize. I limited the]
[distribution to "la"; if only everyone ran INN then it wouldn't get any ]
[propagation past sites that are supposed to carry "la" distributions. ]
