     I don't see how you can say that abortion rights have expanded.
Parental consent laws are upheld, judicial bypass of parental
consent is being undermined, and state and federal legislation
limiting or eliminating late-term abortions is being upheld.
     Miranda, however, is pretty well settled law.  But the upholding
of various provisions of the PATRIOT act is a blemish on the court
system (and the administration that proposed it).
