Unless you live really close, the disadvantages, including the pollution caused by the drive, outweigh any other pluses. An observation by one who has a parking permit in a close-by lot: Sunday vegetable buyers are about the rudest bunch of folks that my coworkers and I have ever come across... using reserved private parking and then taking umbrage at any attempt to tell them they are illegally parked! Hope you are not one of them!
