Oh geez. I thought the thread about mexico and california was bad 
enough, and now this.

Did it ever occur to anyone that drawing more borders and more lines on 
the map is a little bit FUCKING STUPID!

Christ. Like the world isn't screwed up enough because people draw lines 
and say this mine, and someone else's line overlaps. Now we have someone 
who wants to make more.
	The real problem here is not with california, or with mexico, or 
will immigrants or with the US. Its with this really stupid global view 
of this piece of dirt is mine and I own it.
	We should start moving towards a global community and goverment 
(yes, i know how way out there this sounds and how far off this is in 
the future if it ever happens at all). 
	But doesnt anyone just see how stupid this is? The rest of the 
world has problems so lets close our doors. Our neighbors have problems 
so lets lock our borders. 
	Not to mention this incredibly small minded view point that 
everyone in the 'golden state' thats 'undesireable' had to have come 
from somewhere else. Its so damn easy to say "midwestern and east-coast 
transplant lowlifes". Why dont you try saying those people?? Why dont 
you just for one second try to open you mind to a new though? Why dont 
you stop for a moment and realise those lowlifes are people, no 
different from you or me in most cases. 
	I have a feeling you'd be saying exactly the same thing if you 
lived on the east coast, except you'd be blaming people from the west 
coast. 
	Personally i think the reasons mentioned above to spliting from 
the US are ones motivated by bigotry and ignorance. 
	Lets say we split from the US...whats to prevent then LA county 
or Orange county from then deciding "hey, the rest of california 
sucks...all those northerners coming down here and screwing it all up. 
Lets split from california!" ??
	
	I wonder when people are going to start learning and give up 
some of the past ways of thinking.
