Many years ago the workers in the retail industry we no longer able to enjoy
July 4th with their families. Why? Because retail stores felt that they could
make more money if they were open. If we send them a message by not shopping
on July 4th maybe millions of people who work in the retail industry will
again be able to start celebrating the founding of this great country.

Yes I work in retail(as a store manager). I am working on July 4th so some of
my employees can have a good holiday.
