I've lived in Hollywood a long time and know that the "studio system"
is alive and well here. It's probably the most centrally located to get
to Culver City and Burbank where most of the studios that are not
still in Hollywood are located. A whole bunch of actors, writers,
directors, and ADs also live here, mostly in the Hills, north of the
old cities. It's mostly only the very rich ones that live in Bev. Hills,
Bel-Air, Malibu, etc. Of course the new Dreamworks bunch aren't
near here but they're not near anybody.
