Ok, Ok ENOUGH OF THIS SECESSION SHIT (THAT WAS PROBABLY STARTED BY THE FRIGGIN MEDIA!!!) DEALING WITH NO. CALI, SO. CALI, Valley, and LA!!! IT WONT EVER HAPPEN.....MARK MY WORDS!!! And New York, and Los Angeles, SHOULD NOT, and arent all against each other! Maybe started by some people loyal to each city , trying to stir up some civic patriotic fervor or something. The riots in Los Angeles have happened only two times in the 200 and sumthin years the city has been around. They werent that bad either, the media (doesnt there seem to be a theme here?) took those aerial shots in South Central and made it look like the whole city was burning down, but OF COURSE, it wasnt!!! Look I live near Long Beach (sothern section of L.A. County) and I like BOTH New York and Los Angeles. They're BOTH great cities (BTW that Wyoming asshole.....have fun f**kin yer horse in that frigid weather!!) - they might have their differences , but I consider them sister cities of some type. They both are huge, and have inherited the problems that come along with wide-scale urbanization, and have their scenic downtown areas, HUGE harbors (LA-LB harbors #1 and NY-NJ #2), and have (nearly) the same needs! Comin from the LA area of course I like LA better. But thats natural, everyone has pride for their own hometown (or city, barrio, hood, country, etc..). I like the weather here it's goddamn lovely. New York has colder weather but, for me, to each his own! That comment on splitting up LA county and makin the friggin MASSIVE metropolitan areas in San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, and (EVEN) perhaps, San Diego County or Ventura County into one whole city divided up into "burroughs" (ala NYC), was a damn good (and very original!) idea. Allow the rural areas north of Santa Clarita all the way into Riverside, San Bernardino, and perhaps San Diego, and Ventura Counties, into their own counties. So to sum what I have said up, NO MORE TALK ABOUT *ANY* SECESSION CRAP, cuz we all know it wont happen, it's all a bunch of political BS! I like the worldly cities of New York and Los Angeles and consider them BOTH to be the best cities in the WORLD, whether you like it or not! I say combine the metro Southland and make LA better (whether the Valley or anyone else, likes it or not!). Oh BTW if you REALLY want me to read your comments please send an E-mail copy of your response. I visit the newsgroups VERY rarely. Thanks in advance! -LordUnum
