ok... perhaps this time you can read what Secretary of State Rice said...

:>They are referencing the missle attacks, not the kidnapping of the soldier.
: Soldiers... there were two of them.
Actually, Secretary Rice doesn't reference how many, just a soldier in Gaza
and a similar abduction in Lebanon... now, did you actually read what the
Secretary of State said???
: You realize there was an attack on Israel's military, right? That's
: how the hesboboloos got the two soldiers.
You mean the Israelies went into Lebanon to look for the missle launchers?
<snipped Jerusalem Post story... they are at least as biased as CNN>
: And you assume Sec Rice stated that the two soldiers were kidnapped in
: Lebanon? Post your proof.
Sure, we'll try again...

It's not perfect english, but I guess they just release them as they are
spoken... (I would have added "and" before "a similar")

Hmmm, "anyone can edit"... amazing ain't it?
Sadly, apparently Israel violated the ceasefire several times already...

"Israel's violation of cessation of hostilities endangers fragile calm
Annan
19 August 2006 United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan has been in
touch with top Israeli and Lebanese officials today following an Israeli
raid in eastern Lebanon which he warned endangers the fragile calm that
has generally held in the region since Monday.
The Secretary-General is deeply concerned about a violation by the Israeli
side of the cessation of hostilities as laid out in Security Council
resolution 1701, a UN spokesman said in a statement. Adopted on 11 August,
that text mandated a halt to the fighting which took effect three days later.
There have also been several air violations by Israeli military aircraft,
according to the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), which is helping to
support and coordinate the Israeli withdrawal. ..."
