We never fought a war directly with the Soviets, lots of clandistined stuff,
but no direct fighting... yet thier leader did say "We will bury you". What
the leader of Iran has said so far is no different... and they may well 
collapse from their own weight as well...

China and Viet Nam don't get along well (hence China invaded them in the 
Sino-Viet Nam war, the late 70's) The Soviets supplied View Nam during the 
war with us...

Same with the wars in the middle east... 1973 was the first time the U.S.
got a good look at a Mig 25, and that was over Israel at mach 3.2...

We have dealt with problems before and been able to remain on the high
moral ground... The United States has no need to dip its hand into the 
gutter of genocide now...
