Yep, I'm amazed sometimes too... but for different reasons, it doesn't matter 
if they got their butts kicked by a well funded and organized military with 
planes and tanks, what matters is they keep coming back, over and over... 

Nationalism is a spirit that is hard to kill, people will support these folks
as long as they feel they are fighting for their freedom... 

The way to victory is help these populations build some sort of lives for 
themselves, ideally intertwinning their economies with Israel so they are 
mutally dependent on each other (similar to the Marshall Plan after France 
and Germany were at war so many times...).  

The policy of invading ones neighbors whenever one feels threatened is
unstabling for the entire world...
