A punch might stop a bully, but these folks have been locked in this struggle
for two generations now... do you really think a well landed punch by either 
side will end the conflict? Did it stop in the 50's? How about the 60's?  How
about the 70's? Maybe the 80's? We got punched once in the 80's and we decided 
to leave, but we are reasonable people looking at this objectively...

This conflict is never over, it just starts anew...

There is international law that might be able to deal with the situation, 
however, if you look at unimplemented UN resolutions, three names nearly
always pop up... Turkey (Cyprus), Morroco and Israel... lots and lots of 
unimplemented resolutions...

I was traveling thru Indianapolis once and bought a newspaper at the airport,
one of the stories was a prostitute who flagged down a police cruiser because
her last customer refused to pay and she wanted him arrested...   It's hard 
to violate the law and get law enforcement to be solidly on your side...
She was arrested...
