OK.  I will let him know I support the decision.

I really don't understand what all the fuss is about.  If I get a
telemarketing call I either can.  1.  Hang up with no response  2.
Hangup after saying no thank you 3. Keep them on the line as long as I
can although I have no intention of buying anything.

I actually even made one purchase because I kept them on the line.  A
magazine I had decided not to renew was offered with 20 issues instead
of 12 I had been offered at renewal.  I liked the magazine and purchased
it.  

Maybe I am a typical but we get maybe 3-4 calls per week.  Even if I got
6 calls a day that would be 60 seconds at most and I piss away that much
time waiting on traffic lights while commuting or just goofing off.

Like junk mail paying mailing costs these companies pay phone bills and
create jobs.  I just don't see it as a big deal.
