Pac Bell ISP just dropped Yahoo as the default search engine and substituted Infoseek. Anyone else's ISP do the same? Just wondering -- could it be because Yahoo now offers ISP /email? Any other similar stories?

Check out http://www.yahoo.com and see. BTW: Pac Bell sucks! If you use your own copy of Netscape, when you search you'll be automatically switched to the Netscape site containing ALL the search engines to select from.

Also, from the search engines listed on Netscape's site (the one you get to from the search icon on the toolbar) there is a box you can check to always return to that particular search engine the next time you come to Netscape's site. See for yourself: http://home.netscape.com/home/internet-search.html I'd recommend the original poster downloading the latest version of Netscape 4.04. Much better than 3.01, in my opinion of course! -- ==--==**==--==**==--==**==--==**==--==**==--==**==--==**==--==**==--== Spam stopping measures in place.
