I've got an Emerson student model flute that I'm willing to sell for $250.
This flute is brand new and has never been used. Really! (If you want the
horrible details about this embarassing situation, send me some email.)

In any event, this instrument is perfect for beginners and students of all
ages, and according to the specialist that sold it to me, is actually a
perfect flute for anyone on a sub-symphonic level.
