Dotti,
We live in Oxnard. Oxnard has guite a few nice new tracks projects
going on. The price for a new 3-4 bedroom house ranges from 180k to
low-300k. I assume you have kids going to schools, so I would suggest go
to Thousand Oaks or Camarillo. The public schools have better testing
scores than those in Oxnard do. Of course, the houses are more expansive
in Thousand Oaks and Camarillo (25~75%)!
Actually, there is a web page:
 http://www.ventura-county-homes.com/
Good there, and check it out. Good luck.
