Two thoughts come to mind. The city of buena park owns (I think they
bought it) an old building that used to be a stage coach stop across the
street from city hall. They reloacted another historic building next to
it (they moved it to build a toyota dealership). Now there are two
historic buildings and an old church in what the city hopes will become
a historic district. The building needs some work.

The other consideration would be the old Fox Theater in Fullerton. I
know that the community college was leasing it for their theater
department but I don't know if the building has been sold or how long
the college will use it.

I know that the city of santa ana is putting a lot of work into their
redevelopment area, and are trying to create a theater and arts
district. They have lots of old buildings and turn of the century
houses down there.

There is an old adult theater in Buena Park that is now vacant. And I
think there is an empty theater building down in Stanton. Last time I
saw it it was running East Indian movies but it is probably vacant by
now. I would have suggested the old Fox Theater in Anaheim but the city
tore it down for Disney.
