A friend of mine is moving to Los Angeles to go to school, and needs housing.
She will be moving sometime between late August and early September.  A
room is sufficient, and she doesn't mind sharing bathrooms etc. with
reasonable people.  $400 or thereabouts (more if it is unusually pleasant)
and the location should be one of the following: (or an unknown equivalent)
Hancock park
Los feliz
Pasadena
Santa Monica
Silverlake
West LA

She is more concerned with living in an enjoyable part of town than
convenience, so any oasis would also be acceptable.  Trees, old houses,
etc. instead of new pink apartments is what she would like.

Regarding personality, she is 19, a student, tolerantly broad-minded, etc.
Enjoys non-typical amusements (Not much tv, popular music or literature)
She would not enjoy living with a beer hat or similar life form.

Any openings or people with similar needs interested in looking for a place
"together," please reply.  I will forward the email and let her deal with
it from then on.
