DSL DTU to Linux PC

We are getting a DSL line into our office. The DTU will be a Newbridge
2700 device with a V35 or X21 connector. We would like to know whether
we need a separator router with a serial interface or as we prefer,
could like the DTU straight to a computer.

When linking to a computer on either of these interfaces, which port
would we link to? Would we need any special cards or such like to
interface?? Are there any drawback with linking to a DUAL networkcard
PC instead of to a router?
