Hi everyone

I compiled the new 2.4.0 kernel on my redhat 7.0 system. I think I
didn't compile it differently than my old kernels. But the new one is
623k big, whereas the old ones I used were all around 406k small. Is
that normal ? or did I mess up with something.

thx

701k /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.0

Pretty normal. When you said you compiled the same, does that mean the
same config options? To which old kernel? Maybe need a little bit
followup.
