Hi all, I was told that NeXT apps cannot be displayed on other platforms than NeXT. Isn't there a mechanism, an extension to some X-Server that is able to display NeXT apps remotely? I first thought, well it is about display PostScript, so X11 with DGS should do the trick, but instead I hear that the mechanism is called NSHosting and now I wonder whether someone has already tackled that under Linux/XFree86 or the like. Thanks a whole lot for sharing your ideas! Marco

I first thought, The problem is (probably among other things), that NeXT DPS has a bunch of extensions that are not in the standard Adobe DPS (nor are they in DGS). And NSHosting is just between NeXT Computers. -- Adam Fedor.
