There is NO emulator as far as I know, but I have heard of a way around it, which is to startup win9x, so the modem gets configured to COMx, restart in dos mode, and run loadlin to start your linux. I personally have not tried it but I heard that it works. goodluck, kon Clumsy <sangohan@geocities.com> wrote in message news:3zvl3.29942$jl.24236779@newscontent-01.sprint.ca... > Hi There, > I know WinModem aren't suppose to work in Linux, but I heard that with > Redhat Linux 6.0 you can make one work with an Emulator of some sort... if > anyone know something about that or any name that could make me on a path, > please Email me!
