I have a problem. I need my machine at home to act like an ISP. At home I have a small network of a linux redhat 5.1 server and two win 95 machines. On the redhat server at home I develope internet sites. What I need to be able to do is dial into my machine at home and be able to surf the sites on that box and ftp to and from it. At the moment I can dial into the box and open a terminal connection from my win95 box at work. I'm not worried about security and I will only be dialing in from one machine here at work. I have recompiled the kernal to include ppp and slip but all of the documentation I have seen so far is just confuse and relys (in the case of slip) a command slattach. I don't seem to have any sl0 or sl1 in /dev/ I thought slip would be better because it is simpler and we are only talking about one connection at a time. Help me!! Can anyone help me with some full proof instructions or a man page etc that are redhat 5.1 compatable. thanks Duncan
