hello,
  i'm thing about installing a rpm for my voodoo2 card. i got it off the
linuxgames.com page & i was wondering if you need to recompile  the kernal
after installing the packet. On the web page it says use the following
commands:

rpm -uvh glide v2-2.53-1.i386.rpm

& for the device driver it says
rpm --rebuild device 3dfx-1.1-2.scr.rpm
rpm -uvh /usr/scr/redhat/rpms/i386/device3dfx-1.1-2.i386.rpm

&for sdk
rpm -uvh glide2x sdk-2.1-3.i386.rpm

i am rather new to linux & if anyone has any experiance with this, could
you give me some pointers of what to expect & what to watch out for.
any trouble shooting tips are REALY helpful
