Hello.
I have a Conexant 56K Pci modem, and I cannot get it recognized under
linux. I have tried detecting it with netcfg, but it finds nothing.
How can I get it running under linux?
Thanks for the help, Carsten

Someone else might be more familar with this modem, but I can give you
some general tips.
First, make sure that it is NOT a "WinModem". The name should be
obvious, Winmodems were not designed for any OS but Windows.
Next, if this is a Plug-and-Play modem, find the utility that came
with the modem so that you can turn off the PNP setting on the card.
